27 апреля в 15.00 в Краснодарском краевом художественном музее имени Ф. А. Коваленко откроется выставка «Караван времени» сибирского художника, член-корреспондента Российской Академии художеств, заслуженного художника Российской Федерации Николая Алексеевича Ротко. Вниманию зрителей предстанут 65 живописных полотен.
Николай Ротко принадлежит к мастерам, чье творчество формировалось в 60-х годах XX века,в то время, когда художники могли передать своё мировосприятие и выразить в работах связь художественных течений XX столетия более свободно в образном решении.
Творческий путь Николая Ротко начался на одном из новокузнецких заводов, где он занимал должность художника-дизайнера. Со временем художник посвятил себя только живописи. Цвет для Ротко стал средством передачи красоты и многообразия мира, в цвете, сочном и звучном, угадывается та эмоциональная напряженность, которая в дальнейшем определила его индивидуальный почерк.
Огромный выбор впечатлений, полученных в жизни, художник переносит на холст, сочиняет и выстраивает различные версии, создаёт загадочные сюжеты. Обладая богатой фантазией, Ротко прибегает к неожиданным приёмам построения образов, где реальный мир соотносится с миром своей мечты или воспоминаний. Зрителю будет интересно не само явление, а то, как воспринимает его художник: что на холсте играет главную роль, а что – второстепенную, и как выражена суть изображаемого. Он пишет работы, используя приёмы совмещенного и фрагментарного видения композиционных ритмов, сходства и несходства объектов.
Искусствовед Маргарита Хабарова, член-корреспондент Российской Академии художеств, сравнивает его картины с музыкой, где каждый мазок на полотне являет собой ноту. «Живопись его исходит из души и чувств, он часто пишет не задумываясь, полагаясь только на глаз и руку, а уже во время письма наступает открытие того или иного цвета», -говорит она о художественных особенностях его творчества.
На выставке «Караван времени» вы проследите сложный и противоречивый творческий путь художника и откроете для себя мир Николая Ротко.
Родился в 1944 году в поселке Абагур-Лесной Кемеровской области. В 1968 году закончил Иркутское художественное училище. Участник выставок с 1969 года. Занимался в Центральной учебно-экспериментальной студии СХ СССР Сенеж-Москва под руководством Е. А. Розенблюма (1971-1974).В 1976 году был награжден премией Ленинского комсомола и дипломом I степени Министерства культуры СССР и Союза художников СССР. Принят в Союз художников СССР в 1977 г. Член-корреспондент РАХ (2002); заслуженный художник РФ (2003).Жил и работал в г. Новокузнецке и Москве. В настоящее время проживает в Новокузнецке.
Выставка будет работать до 14 мая.

A huge selection of impressions received in life, the artist brings to the canvas, composes and builds various versions, creates mysterious subjects. Possessing a rich imagination, Rothko resorts to unexpected methods of constructing images, where the real world corresponds with the world of his dreams or memories. The viewer will be interested not in the phenomenon itself, but in how the artist perceives it: what is the main role on the canvas, and what is secondary, and how the essence of the depicted is expressed. He writes works using techniques of combined and fragmentary vision of compositional rhythms, similarity and dissimilarity of objects.
Art critic Margarita Khabarova, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts, compares his paintings with music, where every smear on the canvas is a note. "His painting proceeds from the soul and feelings, he often writes without hesitation, relying only on the eye and hand, and at the time of writing comes the discovery of a particular color," she says of the artistic peculiarities of his work.

He lived and worked in Novokuznetsk and Moscow. Now he lives in Novokuznetsk.
