About two hundred years ago, a British ambassador, Lord Elgin, cut and removed a significant number of Parthenon sculptures, invaluable archaeological and emotional value.
"Bring them back" is the name of the on-line campaign involving the return of sculptures, where they belong.
Most of the original sculptures are currently in the British Museum, which refuses to return them.
The excuse is that Greece does not have a suitable place to host them.
Sculptures can be hosted at the Acropolis Museum. One of the most modern museums in the world. There is no excuse anymore!
